The Free and the Brave is a documentary series uncovering stories of valor and sacrifice—of courage that shaped the freedoms we now live. It’s inspired by the deeper meaning of the Star-Spangled Banner—not just a flag, but a symbol of service, of struggle, and of strength carried forward.
Some gave their last breath in battle. Others gave their peace, their bodies, their futures. And those still living in the shadow of that sacrifice? They’re honoring it—not with fanfare, but with purpose: building, creating, raising families, serving in new ways.
We’re telling both sides of that story. Help us find them.
